Lady Ursula's Musings 2009-03-05 - 11:34 a.m. So much to do! So much to see! So what's wrong with taking the fast lane? You'll never know if you don't go. February was a very long month, not in days, but in miles. All told over 4000 miles. If you have never gone to Estrella, you can't begin to imagine. I drove on the Pinal Pioneer Parkway through the desert with full moon setting behind the western mountains and 2" of illuminated mystical snow on the cactii. It was an eerie sight to behold. Well worth the drive. There is nothing like snow in the desert to inspire warm wool hats of whimsey! Just check my flickr page for the latest pictures (or go to www.ursulasalcove.com and click on the flickr logo in the menu column) I also restocked yarn this month. 584 balls of yarn were wound to prepare for the spring events. Lots of gorgeous wools and linen to choose from. I still have some great Prime Alpaca coming in this week (oh so soft!). Tomorrow I may fire up the Coleman and start dyeing the new sock yarns that just came in. So much to do! The event schedule has been updated if you would like to come see us while we're on the road. We're spending a bit of time in Oklahoma. So much to see! Think early spring! Ursula
