Lady Ursula's Musings

2008-12-21 - 1:10 a.m.

Winter solstice is here. So it's always dark and dreary in this part of the world in autumn and winter. We must be the only place in the nation where there is no snow. But it is chilly and I still have so many things to do before Christmas. I am still writing cards. The decorations are still in the attic. There are no cookies baked. But as one of Santa's elves, I did get several hats out for special people this year. The last one will be done tomorrow. I do so hope they like it. It is supposed to be a Pannonian hat for a Roman. There will be pictures up on Flickr later. For now, the loom is bare and the extra table has been taken down. There is knitting yet to be finished as well before presents can be mailed. It's one in the morning and soon I shall fall blissfully asleep before starting it all over again.

Stay tuned as I work out next year's schedule. I am ever pondering where to go , what to do, which coast to be on, how much will it cost. A good bit of it has already been worked out and just needs to be put onto the web. Who knows what adventures I shall find in the coming year?

Ursula
