Lady Ursula's Musings 2005-12-21 - 3:15 p.m. Seasons Greetings! As a blog goes, this one has not been all that sucessful. So I am going to try to turn it into a project journal. As I was going through inventory which lives with many other things in my attic, I came across more fleece than I ever intended to spin. So I am undertaking an ambitious project. What just one? Well, this one is the product dujour anyhow. I have leftovers of superwash that was dyed with Kool-Aid. (Thanks again Dennetta for the recipe!) I have already spun weft for two variegated scarves with lime, blueberry, and grape. These are over and done with. I am just dealing with leftovers now. I added some of my own dyed with Country Classics Blueberry which gives a darker blue than the Kool-Aid. I also found some dark gray fleece that was dyed in similar colors years ago but not in a superwash. Now to card them together and do something with them. Today, after making that Holiday staple of lime jello, cottage cheese, cool-whip and pineapple chunks, I decided I needed even more green in my life. I am carding and spinning LIME. I will try to get some pictures in a bit so you can see how this is going. Tempt tempt. Come back later. Ursula/Linda
